It's time to change your path

A new path can bring some unexpected challenges and being prepared for your anticipated career move is an important part of the process. It is an extremely competitive world, and sometimes time spent gathering documentation may be the deciding factor.

Resume

You should begin compiling your updated resume. It should include your past work experience with a brief explanation why you left each position. Certifications and personal information is critical.

Certifications

Make sure you acquire copies of all your work and education certifications. Should a potential new employer want to check these, they are ready and available.

Travel Documents

Should your potential new position require relocation, ensure that your passport is current with sufficient open pages (normally at least 6).

References

Your reference letters are extremely helpful to make a good first impression.
